Introduction the development model that characterizes our civilization in the two last centuries leads irremediably to the situation of current surrounding degradation in our cities. The aggravating one is that the continuity disordered docrescimento will be able to finish for making impracticable the process of modernization of the city of Manaus. Manaus also suffers with the secular, that, in few minutes, provoke the overflow of its streets and the destruction of houses. The volume of water that falls, not having for where to be canalized exponentially goes if accumulating. War and Wedge (2001) arrive at a conclusion on the concept of ambient impact affirming that, ambient impact is, therefore, the process of social and ecological changes caused by disturbances (a new occupation and/or construction of a new object: a plant, a road or an industry) in the environment. It still says respect to the joint evolution of the social and ecological conditions stimulated by the impulses of the relations between forces external and internal of the space unit and ecology, historical or socially determined. It is the relation between society and nature that if differential transforms and dynamically.
The ambient impacts are written in the time and happen diferenciadamente, modifying the structures of the social classrooms and reorganizing the space (p.24). The world-wide population passed for a sped up process of urbanization in century XX. The growth of the cities if has given, in a generalized manner, of the possible form most disordered, causing a series of impacts to the environment. These impacts bring some damages to the urban environment and the proper inhabitants of the city. As consequence of this sped up and disordered growth, a series of impacts has been registered. To cite an example, we have the deforestations that it does not take in account the erosive susceptibility of ground and its processes. It is added this the fact of that the deforestation associated with the constructions of building and the sprouting of streets and avenues cause degradaes, making with that floodings they are each time more constant in the cities.
